Product description
Sangre de Vida is the work of Grade Kim Brandi, the creator of the American company Elements Spirits, which in 2009 introduced KAH tequila to the market, offered in characteristic ceramic decanters, stylized as human skulls, decorated in accordance with the Mexican tradition of Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead. Brandi said goodbye to the brand she founded in 2011. The farewell was supposedly held in a rather unpleasant atmosphere and not entirely in accordance with the will of the founder of Elements Spirits. One of the effects of the separation was the establishment of a new company, Iconic Brands, and the launch of a whole range of drinks, including the Sangre de Vida tequila series. And since "sangre de vida" is Spanish for "blood of life", this tequila was offered in a specially prepared bottle in the anatomical shape of a heart made of red-tinted glass.
The distillate from which Sangre de Vida tequila is made comes from the famous La Cofriada distillery, located in Tequila, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. It is made from 100% blue agave, distilled twice in stainless steel stills with a copper coil. Tequila Sangre de Vida Blanco is a fresh drink, not subject to maturation.
