Product description

The Island Rum Company was founded in 2012. Its goal was to connect local players in Cuba with international players to offer both existing and new Cuban rum brands.

Progresiva de Vigia rum is produced in central Cuba, in Ciego de Avilia, in Bodega Vigia, founded in 1577. The rum is composed by a female team of master blenders, based on distillates made from molasses and distilled in column stills.

Ron La Progressive de Vigia is a blend of rums aged in American bourbon oak barrels for 11, 13 and 15 years.

Aroma: Oranges, salted caramel, vanilla, spices.

Taste : Dark chocolate, dried fruit, figs, oranges, caramel, nuts, pepper.

Finish : Long, oaky and spicy.
