Product description
Dufftown is one of the larger malt distilleries in the Diageo portfolio, capable of distilling 6 million litres of alcohol per year.
Almost 95% of the production is intended for the company's blends (mainly Bell's and Johnnie Walker), but Singleton of Dufftown, which debuted in 2006 in a 12-year-old version, is gaining more and more supporters. The 18-year-old edition hit the European market in 2011 and was a decisive step towards the premium segment . The whiskies used in the blend matured mainly in bourbon barrels with a small addition of sherry barrels.
