Teaninich Distillery is based in Ross-shire in the northern Highlands.
It was built in 1817 by Captain Hugh Munro on his Teaninich Estate. In 1933, the distillery became the property of DCL, and is now owned by Diageo. Distilled on 25 March 2008, the whisky was aged in a first-fill bourbon cask no. 704328 and bottled at cask strength (53.8% abv) in an edition of 255 bottles.
