Product description
The Single Cask Ltd. was founded in 2010 by Ben Curtis (initially operating as Malt Vault Company).
With offices in London and Singapore, its assets include a bar and retail store, in addition to its whisky line. The company offers only single cask whiskies, bottled at natural colour, cask strength and unchill-filtered. The Strathmill featured here, distilled on 1 November 2006, spent over 12 years in a bourbon hogshead cask (American oak) no. 801545, and bottled on 18 April 2019 in an edition of 271 bottles. Strathmill Distillery (founded in 1891) is based in Speyside and has two pairs of stills that can produce 2.6 million litres of spirit per year. The single malt is a key component of J&B blends.
