Product description
Tullibardine Distillery is located in the picturesque hillside village of Blackford in Perthshire. Its name means ‘hillside lookout’ in Gaelic, referring to the small medieval chapel that stands nearby.
The distillery was built in 1949 on the site of an old brewery, and its short history is recorded by several owners. The latest on their list, the French company Picard Vins & Spiriteux, took over the plant in 2011 and two years later offered an offer consisting of six new editions. It opens with the Tullibardine Sovereign presented here, a young whisky bottled without an age statement and blended from distillates aged in first-fill bourbon barrels.
