Product description
Somewhat overshadowed by powerhouses such as Ardbeg and Laphroaig, Bunnahabhain has been producing whisky since 1881.
The current one belongs to Burn Stewart Distillers, which in turn has been part of the South African Distell International since 2013. Bunnahabhain whisky is a key component of the Black Bottle blend, as a single malt it is quite far behind the Islay giants, although its sales have increased by over 100% in the last few years (in 2019, over 600,000 bottles of this whisky were sold). The Bunnahabhain 30 year old presented here was included in the offer in 2020. The whisky comes exclusively from sherry casks, and is bottled at 46.3% abv and without chill filtration, and is released on the market in annual limited batches.
