Product description
In April 2018, renowned independent whisky publisher Gordon & MacPhail, which has been operating since 1895, announced it would be reducing its “release series” from fourteen to five.
Among the five selected were “Distillery Labels”, a historical series, originally consisting of single malts, for which Gordon & MacPhail held the distribution license. The Linkwood 25 years old presented here is a whisky matured in first and refill sherry casks, bottled in autumn 2020 (the alcohol content was then increased from 43 to 46% abv). Thanks to its long-standing cooperation with distilleries, G&M usually buys fresh distillate and matures it in its own warehouses in Elgin.
