Product description
Dailuaine Distillery is located in the heart of Speyside, between the Glenfarclas and Benrinnes distilleries. Now owned by Diageo, it has three pairs of stills and can produce over 5 million spirits per year.
Dailuaine has been associated with Johnnie Walker blends for years, and official single malt editions are rare. The single cask version presented here is Douglas Laing & Co.'s Old Particular offering from March 2020. Distilled in April 1998, the whisky spent over 21 years in a refill hogshead cask, DL 13948, and was bottled at 51.5% abv in an edition of 301 bottles. All of the whiskies in the Douglas Laing & Co. range are offered with natural colour and without chill filtration.
