Arran 8-year-old (D.2013, B.2021) Douglas Laing's Provenance / 46%/ 0.7l
- Douglas Laing & Co., an independent bottling company, used to be run by two Laing brothers, Fred and Stewart.
Product description
Douglas Laing & Co. was owned for over 40 years by brothers Fred and Stewart Laing.
In 2013, the brothers divided its assets and went into business for themselves. The Provenance series remained in the Douglas Laing & Co. portfolio, now owned by Fred. Early 2015 brought a change in the graphic design – while the previous presentation referred to the season, the current one emphasizes the region in which the distillery is based. Arran, presented here, distilled in June 2013, spent eight years in bourbon cask no. DL 14960. Bottled in March 2021 at 46% abv, without added colorings and without chill filtration in an edition of 320 bottles.
