Product description
Built in 2009 by two friends, Jay Carpenter and David Cuttino, Reservoir Distillery is located in Richmond, the capital of Virginia.
It produces three unique single grain whiskeys (their formulas consist of one grain). Thus, bourbon is distilled from 100% corn, rye whiskey from 100% rye, and wheat whiskey from 100% wheat; all grains come from local farmers. The presented Reservoir Bourbon is aged for about two years in small barrels, with a capacity of 2 to 10 gallons. Experiments conducted by the owners have proven that two years spent in a small barrel is the equivalent of 15 years spent in a traditional bourbon barrel (about 200l capacity). Our bottle comes from batch no. 1 released in 2019.
