The Trois Rivieres estate in Martinique once belonged to the Sun King's minister of finance, Louis XIV.
Today it includes, among other things, a large sugar cane plantation and a rum factory. In accordance with the Martinique tradition, rum agricole is produced here, a spirit distilled from fresh sugar cane juice. It is produced in a rectifying column and, in most cases, matured in carefully selected oak barrels, primarily American bourbon barrels.
Trois Rivieres VO Cuvee du Moulin is a blend of distillates matured in a combination of French and American oak barrels for just over 3 years.
Aroma : Notes of sugar cane, oak, citrus, black and white pepper, spices.
Palate: Sugar cane, tropical fruits, spices, a hint of oak.
Finish : Light, floral.
