Product description
With annual sales of 2.7 million cases (2019) Label 5 is number ten best-selling Scotch whisky.
The brand was launched in 1969 and is owned by the French company La Martiniquaise. In 2004 they built their own blending facility near Edinburgh, in 2008 acquired Glen Moray Distillery and two years later opened Starlaw Grain Distillery in Bathgate. In the fall of 2020 La Martiniquaise extended the Label 5 range with the launch of single grain whisky. The whisky comes from Starlaw Distillery and is aged exclusively in first fill bourbon barrels. The producer recommends serving it on the rocks or in whisky-based cocktails.
