Product description
Prestonfield House is a boutique hotel located in the Edinburgh suburb of Prestonfield.
In the mid-1980s, brothers Andrew and Brian Symington (founders of Signatory Vintage Ltd.) introduced the Prestonfield whisky for hotel guests. Initially, they focused on whiskies aged in sherry casks and single cask editions, and since 1994, only single casks. Currently, this series is reserved for the Parisian La Maison du Whisky. The Clynelish presented here, distilled on July 23, 1973, spent over three decades in cask no. 8912, and was bottled at cask strength (54.3% abv) in 2006 in an edition of 405 bottles. Let us recall that in 1973, two Clynelish distilleries operated in parallel, the original using the name Brora.
