Product description
Balvenie is currently the sixth most popular single malt whisky with annual sales of over 4.5 million bottles (2019).
For years, the plant has offered excellent single barrel editions bottled in versions 12, 15 and 25 years old (the latter was replaced in 2020 by 21 years old Single Barrel Traditional Oak). Each barrel is a separate edition consisting of, in the case of the 25-year-old, no more than 250 bottles and although individual batches may show slight differences, they are united by a honeyed sweetness and a slight spiciness of kitchen spices. We present here a whisky distilled on August 2, 1974, aged in barrel no. 10149 and bottled at 46.9% alcohol and without chill filtration on September 27, 2000.
