Product description
The Kashubian Edition of Jack Daniel's is inspired by a mysterious story that happened to us recently. Some time ago, we heard rumors about Jacek's alleged Kashubian roots.
The team of experts we had appointed immediately went to the archive in Sokola Góra, where they made an epochal discovery. We all know the story of Joseph Daniel, Jacek's grandfather, who seduced the daughter of wealthy Scots (he worked for them as a coachman) and left for America with her in 1772. The documents in the aforementioned archive clearly show that Joseph Daniel's real name was Józek Dialen and that he had fled to Scotland two years earlier after seducing the illegitimate daughter of Count Flaszenberg, of the Bukłak coat of arms. It is hard not to believe this story, it is common knowledge that Kashub in the ancient Chlapòwòw dialect means "a peasant whom no woman can resist". The inspired experts immediately went to the Whiskey House to share their discovery with the hosts over a glass of Jacek and establish a plan of action. Full of enthusiasm, although with a slight headache, they returned to the archive the next day to examine the rest of the documents. The last page left them completely stunned – a yellowed sheet of paper with a seemingly incomprehensible text, which, after an extremely thorough analysis, turned out to be the last lines of "Ferdydurke":
The end and the bomb,
And whoever read this trumpet! WG
Aroma: Miss Kashubia after ablutions in the waves of the Baltic Sea, Kashubian vanilla, bread with crumble, orange peel, kissels with cherry jam and charred oak.
Taste : vanilla, snek z glancem, brzôdowa soup, Kashubian kugle, caramel, milk chocolate, a pinch of white pepper, oak and a barely noticeable hint of sylvania.
Finish : long and 100% Kashubian!
PS. Ladies and Gentlemen, please take the description with a pinch of salt, it is the fantasy of our Kashubian bard, after a glass of the aforementioned edition.
