Product description
George Dickel is the second most popular Tennessee whiskey, although its annual sales are only 10% of Jack Daniel's.
In early 2018, Diageo, owner of the George Dickel Distillery in Tullahoma, Tennessee, changed its name to Cascade Hollow Distilling Company. In essence, it was a return to the original name; in 1884, Dickel and his brother-in-law, Victor Schwab, had purchased shares in Cascade Hollow Distillery. Dickel Tennessee whiskey is distilled from a mash of 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley. George Dickel 9 Year Old Hand Selected Barrel is a single cask edition available through a private barrel program. The whiskey is bottled at 103 proof (51.5% abv) and presented in a bottle shaped like an old-fashioned decanter.
