Product description
Almost since the sale of the Cooley and Kilbeggan distilleries to Beam Suntory in 2011, the Teelings began experimenting with finishing their whiskey in a variety of casks.
One of the latest editions is the result of cooperation between Teeling Whiskey Co. and Dublin brewery Dot Brew. This time, the traditional Teeling blended whiskey, aged for about 5 years, was placed in Amber Ale barrels from the aforementioned brewery for 15 months. Teeling Strong Ale Finish was bottled at 46% ABV and without cold filtration in the spring of 2019 in the Small Batch Collaboration series. 12,000 bottles went on sale.
