Product description
For every whisky lover, Samaroli is synonymous with the highest quality and beauty. Silvano Samaroli began his career in the whisky market in 1968 and immediately focused on single cask editions.
In 2008, Samaroli left the management of the company in the hands of Antonio Bleve, but he himself played an active role until his death in February 2017. The Samaroli brand remains a market stalwart, highly prized by collectors, and the casks are currently selected by Antonio Bleve and Francesco Saverio Binetti. The Longmorn presented here is a personal selection by Master Samaroli to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary. Distilled in 1974, the whisky spent around 14 years in a sherry cask and was bottled at 50% abv by RW Duthie (owned by Wm Cadenhead Ltd) in an edition of 540 bottles.
