Product description

Grogue is a spirit made from fresh sugar cane juice from the Monte Negro distillery in the Cape Verde Islands.

Long fermentation lasting several days takes place there thanks to wild yeast, and distillation takes place in a small copper alembic. Before bottling, the drink rests for at least 3 months in stainless steel tanks.

Nose : Sweet, notes of bananas, green olives, pineapples, peaches, fennel, sugar cane.

Taste : Green apples, mango, thyme, cucumber, spices.

Finish: Medium long, sweet, notes of almonds and chocolate.
