Eden Mill was established in 2012 and was Scotland's first combined brewery and distillery, producing whisky, gin and beer.

The company is based in St Andrews, a famous golf resort, not far from where the Haig family’s Seggie Distillery operated between 1810 and 1860. Eden Mill has three copper stills and can produce 80,000 litres of distillate a year. Love Gin debuted in 2015 on Valentine’s Day. Its formula includes juniper berries, angelica root, coriander, elderberry, raspberry leaves, goji berries, rhubarb root, marshmallow root, rose and hibiscus. The latter, when macerated and added after distillation, gives the drink a delicate pink colour. Eden Mill currently offers five gins, all produced in small batches and offered in imitation editions. The key to these is the local botanicals, flowers, herbs and berries, which are incorporated into the formula depending on the season.

Eden Mill Love Gin is a great choice for a Valentine's Day drink; temptingly floral, fruity and sweet with notes of raspberry, vanilla meringue, a hint of juniper and a pleasantly lingering finish. We recommend serving it over ice, with a classic tonic and a slice of lime or in a Gin Fizz cocktail.
