Vineyard located in Austrian Andau, with plots with very high levels of sunlight and temperatures. Perfect conditions for growing grapes that create mature and full-bodied wines were noticed by the founder, Johann Scheibholfer, who successfully created the red wine "Big John". Together with his son Erich, they continue to create unique wines that reflect the style and best characteristics of the varieties grown in the vineyard.

The family owns around 104 hectares of land, located in the best locations in Andau, making them one of the largest in Burgenland. With 13 plots, they are able to extract the best qualities from each of them and create extraordinary wines, permanently etching themselves in the memory of international recipients. In addition to wine production, they also offer tastings in the winery, thanks to which you can feel the atmosphere of the place and better understand the philosophy of the owners.

Wine made 100% from the Zweigelt variety, which in this region shows all its quality and all its advantages. Grapes grown in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, as well as production techniques, create a product suitable for vegans. In the nose it is very complex and full, opening towards the aromas of cherries, blackberries and a bit of plum. On the palate it is quite dense, but harmonious and well-complex, the flavors of red fruits combine perfectly with soft tannin and balanced acidity. The finish is long and quite subtle, with a slightly mineral accent appearing.

It tastes best when served at a temperature of 16-18 degrees. Decanting before serving is recommended to ensure the optimum level of aeration and to give the wine the opportunity to show all its qualities. In culinary combinations, it works well with pates, appetizers with the addition of marinades, as well as with white meats in dark sauces.
