Product description
Cliff Allen is a blended Scotch whiskey from the portfolio of BBC Spirits, a Bordeaux-based company founded in 2010 by Bogdan Tanasoiu and Bertrand Fradin (BBC stands for Bogdan & Bertrand Company).
Initially, BBC's business was limited to importing and exporting wines, and after a few years, distilled spirits appeared in the offer - whiskey, rum, tequila, vodka and gin. Cliff Allen (we don't know who the patron of this whiskey is) hits the market in two versions; the standard version presented here is composed of 15% malt whiskey and 85% grain whiskey (the premium version contains twice as much malt whiskey). The company does not disclose information about its components.
Nose: cereal-alcoholic, oatmeal, brown sugar, apples, pears, notes of vanilla, hay and oak shavings.
Taste: consistent with the aroma, cereal, cooked apples, white currants, caramel, a touch of pepper and oak.
Finish : not too long, with notes of cereal, caramel, vanilla, pepper, hay and oak.
