Product description
St. Kilian is a German whisky producer based in Rüdenau, approximately an hour's drive from Frankfurt am Main.
The distillery, equipped with a pair of Scottish copper stills, began operating in 2016; its distillation capacity is 200,000 litres. The patron of the whisky presented here is Bud Spencer (born Carlo Pedersoli, 1929-2016), an Italian actor, hero of action comedies and "spaghetti westerns", in which he constantly, and always victoriously, fights evil, and ends the day with a glass of whisky. This single malt, aged in bourbon and Amarone wine barrels, was part of the 01.2 batch, which hit the market in November 2020.
