Product description
Glenfarclas Distillery lies in the heart of Speyside and is one of the last iconic Scottish distilleries remaining in private hands.
The Grant family, its owners, have been tempted for years with lucrative purchase offers, so far without success. In 2021, the plant celebrated its 185th birthday, crowned by, among others, the limited jubilee edition presented here (6,000 bottles). The whisky was bottled without an age statement, but we know that George Grant chose casks for this jubilee edition, mainly sherry casks, filled over six decades. Glenfarclas enjoys great consumer loyalty and we do not have to add that this edition already had collector status at the time of its release. The brand's annual sales in 2019 exceeded 2.3 million bottles.
