Product description
In spring 2020, Benromach Distillery changed the presentation of its whisky; the new one is completely different from the previous one.
According to the distillery representative, "the idea of the new presentation is inspired by the sign that used to be on the roof of our peat kiln, the red doors in the distillery buildings and the red brick chimney; the quality and taste of our single malts remain unchanged." Benromach 15 years old, "a whisky reflecting the style of Speyside single malts from the 1960s" debuted in the spring of 2015. While the 10-year-old is made from 80% bourbon-aged spirits and 20% sherry-aged spirits, the proportions are almost the opposite in the case of the 15-year-old. In 2019, Benromach 15 years old won a silver medal at the International Spirit Challenge.
