Product description
The history of Barceló rums begins in 1929, when 25-year-old Julián Barceló left his native Spain, came to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and founded Barceló & Co.
His ambition is to create the best rum in the world. Success does not come immediately, but after years of experimentation, Barceló Blanco and Dorado are introduced to the market, gaining international recognition. Today, Barceló rum is available in over 50 countries around the world, and the Dominican producer is the fourth largest exporter of rum in the world.
Barceló Imperial rum is an award-winning, highly valued drink from the Dominican Republic. It is a blend of distillates matured in oak barrels for 4 to 10 years. In its bouquet we will find creamy and buttery accents, dried cherries, vanilla, pineapple jam, caramelized walnuts, a bit of carrot cake, cola nuts and mocha.
