Product description
Godet is one of the oldest cognac houses. The company was officially registered in 1782, although the beginning of the family business dates back to 1588, when Bonaventure Godet began trading wine in La Rochelle.
The next step was their distillation and a license granted by Henry IV to produce “Brandwine”. Today, the company is run by Jean Edouard Godet and his sons, representing the 14th and 15th generations of the founding family; their cognacs are available in 60 countries. Godet XO Terre is the oldest and most complex cognac in the company’s portfolio, blended with eaux-de-vie from all the production districts (six) aged for 10 to 30 years. In 2017, it was awarded a silver medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition.
