Product description
Jack Daniel's is one of the most popular whiskeys in the world. Every whiskey lover has come across this drink at some point. It has been produced since 1875 in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
Its creator was the charismatic Jasper Newton "Jack" Daniel. The mash recipe for this whiskey contains 78% corn, 12% rye and 10% malted barley. It is distilled twice in distillation columns. After distillation, the fresh alcohol is filtered through 3-meter columns filled with maple charcoal. This process, so-called "charcoal mellowing", distinguishes Tennessee whiskey from bourbon. Jack Daniel's distillates mature for 4 years in new, charred white oak barrels. This anniversary and limited edition was released in 2010 to celebrate the 160th anniversary of Jack Daniel's birth. The whiskey was bottled in black commemorative bottles.
