Product description
In 2009, Douglas Laing & Co. began releasing its Double Barrel Blended Malt series, blended from single barrels of two distillates.
The idea behind the series was to show how combining whiskies with opposing aromatic and flavor palettes can create a harmonious drink that is friendly to virtually every palate. This time, Douglas Laing blended two barrels of 12-year-old single malts, the island Jura and the classic Speysider, Dailuaine. It is a harmonious union in which the features of both components complement each other perfectly.
Nose : roasted nuts and almonds, caramel, honey, apples, peaches, lemons, a touch of white pepper and ginger and some oak.
