Product description
The oldest champagne house, founded in 1729 by Benedictine monk Dom Thierry Ruinart. At the age of 23, he learned about a new product at the time, wine with bubbles, which, at the urging of his uncle, prompted him to take up this subject. As the company grew, it made significant investments, including buying ancient cellars dug under the city of Reims, where the beers it produces are still maturing today. In 1817, the family obtained the noble title of Ruinart de Brimont and has been running the company from generation to generation to this day.
Nowadays, the company is still developing dynamically, additionally offering the possibility of visiting its estate and the aforementioned crayeres near the city of Reims, the charming interiors of the quarries are truly wonderful, which is reflected in their inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List and classified as historical monuments.
