Product description
Glenfiddich Malt Master's Edition debuted in August 2011 as Malt Master's Edition Sherry Cask.
It was the creation of Brian Kinsman, the sixth Master Maltmaster of Wm Grant & Sons, who had taken over from the legendary David Stewart two years earlier. A year later, its name was changed to Malt Master's Edition Sherry Cask, which experienced a few releases a year, referred to as "Batch". Since early 2021, the whisky has been released as Our Malt Master's Edition Sherry Cask Finish, although the process of its creation has remained the same - after a minimum of 6 years of maturation in bourbon casks, the raffia distillate is then aged in sherry casks for another 4 to 6 years. Glenfiddich has led the single malt category in sales statistics for years, with 18 million bottles sold in 2019.
