Product description
Hepburn's Choice is a line of whiskies from the Langside Distillers portfolio, founded in 1948 and now a subsidiary of Hunter Laing & Company.
Its patron is William Hepburn, the maternal grandfather of the Laing brothers, a diplomat and a great whisky connoisseur. Hepburn's Choice editions come from single casks, are bottled at 46% abv, without chill filtration and with a natural colour. The Inchgower presented here, distilled in 2008, spent almost a decade in a refill hogshead cask, and was bottled in 2017 in an edition of 365 bottles. Inchgower Distillery, based in Speyside, has been producing whisky since 1871. It is now owned by Diageo and almost all of its production, over 3 million litres of distillate a year, goes to the group's blends, mainly Bell's.
