The presented Glenfiddich Our Triple Oak Twelve is a creation of master distiller Brian Kinsman and young French chef Julien Boscus intended for the "French palate". It is a blend of distillates aged in bourbon and sherry barrels for at least 12 years, finished in fresh French oak barrels for four months. As the master says, "such triple maturation brings out more piquancy in our whisky and makes its palette more intense".

Aroma : fruity and spicy, barley malt, vanilla, crème brûlée, honey, pears, orange peel, ginger, pepper and light notes of nuts and oak.

Palate: True to the aroma, vanilla cream, caramel, nectarines, pears, milk chocolate, honeyed almonds, candied ginger, cinnamon, pepper and oak.

Finish : Quite long but mild, with notes of vanilla, honey, plums, pears, a mixture of spices and oak.
