Bodegas Suau was founded in the Caribbean in 1843.
For over a century and a half, typical Caribbean rum was produced there using local sugar cane. Today, Bodegas Suau is located in Majorca and is primarily involved in the production of brandy and gin.
Ron Jungla is a rum made in the Dominican Republic, where it is matured in oak barrels from American bourbon in the tropical climate of the Dominican Republic. It is then brought to Majorca for additional maturation in oak barrels from local brandy. Two islands, two seas, two types of barrels, one rum. In total, it is matured for 11 years.
Aroma : Caramel, cane sugar, hay, papaya, oak.
Palate : Caramel, brandy, licorice, cocoa, oak.
Finish : Dry, medium long, notes of caramel and oak.
