Product description
Glenfiddich is the undisputed leader in single malt sales; in 2019, over 18 million bottles of this whisky were sold.
The company's offer is extremely diverse and emphasizes its presence in every price segment. The 18-year-old version debuted at the end of the last century. Its original name Ancient Reserve was changed in 2008 to Small Batch Reserve and in 2014 to Married in Small Batches. In 2019, Glenfiddich began changing the presentation of its basic offer, and so 12 years old is today Our Original Twelve, and 15 years old Our Solera Fifteen. A year later, the 18-year-old hit the market as Our Small Batch. It is still a blend of whiskies aged in bourbon and sherry barrels, a total of no more than 150 barrels, subjected to a several-month marriage before bottling. Glenfiddich 18 years old is the winner of dozens of prestigious competitions, the latest being the gold medal awarded by the jury of the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2019.
