Product description
Single Malt Millstone is a product of Zuidam Distillery, founded in 1975 by Fred van Zuidam and his wife Hélène, and currently run by their sons, Patrick and Gilbert.
The distillery is located on the Dutch-Belgian border and is the only one in the country that carries out the entire production process on site. The name Millstone refers to the symbol of Holland – windmills – used by Zuidam to grind barley malt. The family loves experiments, which is why its commercial offer is extremely diverse and constantly enriched. The 10-year-old version presented here is a whisky distilled in April 2008 and aged in French oak barrels. Bottled on February 16, 2108 with an alcohol content of 40%, which formally makes it a 9-year-old whisky.
