Château du Breuil is, above all, a renowned calvados producer, a company with a long tradition located in Normandy, France.
For some time now, however, in addition to producing calvados, the company has also been involved in obtaining, maturing and bottling rum. These spirits, under the name Rum Explorer, are bottled in France and partially matured on the estate, the centerpiece of which is a historic château.
Rum Explorer Caribbean is a blend of many distillates from producers in the Caribbean region. Neither the origin of the individual ingredients nor the details of their maturation have been disclosed.
Nose : Rich, with notes of grilled pineapple, bananas, mango, candied fruit and nuts.
Taste: Smooth and rounded, with notes of fruit, nuts, licorice and vanilla.
Finish: Long, with notes of fruit and licorice.
