Product description
Royal Oak Distillery is located on the grounds of an 18th century manor house in County Carlow.
Built by Walsh Whiskey Company (producer of Writer's Tears and The Irishman) with capital support from the Italian company Illva Saronno, it began operating in 2016. Three years later, the partners went their separate ways and the Italians took full control of the distillery. It is equipped with three stills and one distillation column and produces three types of whiskey - single malt, single pot still and single grain (total capacity is 2.5 million liters of distillate per year). The Busker Single Grain is distilled in a still and aged in bourbon and Marsala barrels from the oldest producer of this wine, Cantine Florio.
