Product description
In recent years, Bruichladdich Distillery has been offering an extremely wide range of its own single malts.
Starting from delicate, fruity, distilled from malted barley without peat, to the extremely peated Octomore, in which the concentration of phenol compounds exceeds 200 parts per million. The "Classic Laddie" presented here was distilled exclusively from Scottish barley. It spent the maturation period in selected bourbon barrels and is bottled at 50% alcohol.
Nose : fruity-floral, pears, apples, melon, oranges, a bit of hay, vanilla, a hint of oak and a light breath of sea breeze.
Taste : fruity and sweet, traces of sun-drying grass, tangerines, papaya, vanilla, salted caramel and delicate oak bitterness.
Finish : medium long, tropical fruit salad enveloped in salty air.
