Tamdhu Ámbar 14 years old / 43% / 0.7l
- Tamdhu single malt was introduced to Travel Retail customers in the fall of 2018.
Product description
In the fall of 2018, the single malt Tamdhu made its debut in the Travel Retail chain.
The two versions of this whisky have been launched in partnership with Dufry, a key player in the Duty Free market, and will be available in World of Whiskies and selected duty free outlets across the UK. Both versions also pay tribute to Spain, and in particular to the sherry casks made from local oak. The Ámbar (Spanish for Amber) presented here is a 14-year-old single malt aged in refill Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 43%. Tamdhu is the second single malt from the Ian Macleod Distillers portfolio to try its hand at the Travel Retail market, following the previous year’s Glengoyne and the Spirit of Oak series, which also emphasised links with Spain.
