Product description
Armorik is a single malt whisky from the Breton Distillerie Warenghem. Yeun Elez, on the other hand, is a heavily peated version of this whisky distilled from malt imported from Scotland with a phenol concentration of 50ppm.
Its name refers to an old peat bog located in the Armorique national park, where according to local legend there was an entrance to hell. The hero of one of them, Tadic Coz, learned the secret of the prison of souls in the body of a black dog and, together with young Jacob, lured the beast near the gates of hell and at sunset threw it into Yeun Elez, where it remains to this day. The Armorik presented here hit the market in the summer of 2020 in a limited edition of 5,000 bottles.
