Product description
The Trois Rivieres estate in Martinique once belonged to the Sun King's minister of finance, Louis XIV.
Today it includes, among other things, a large sugar cane plantation and a rum factory. In accordance with the Martinique tradition, rum agricole is produced here, a spirit distilled from fresh sugar cane juice. It is produced in a rectifying column and, in most cases, matured in carefully selected oak barrels, primarily American bourbon barrels.
Trois Rivieres Teeling Finish is the first collaboration with producers of other spirits in the field of additional maturation of rum. This spirit, after basic maturation in oak barrels from American bourbon, was poured into barrels in which the Irish whiskey Teeling had previously matured. The rum spent 8 months in these additional barrels. In its bouquet, notes of roots, sugar cane and oak were complemented by fruit and herbal accents straight from the barrels of Irish whiskey.
