Product description
The Loch Lomond distillery was built in 1965 by the Littlemill Distillery Company, owned by the American Barton Brands.
This is probably Scotland’s most unusual distillery, equipped with one pair of traditional stills, two pairs of Lomond stills and a pair of continuous distillation columns. Since 2019, Loch Lomond has been owned by Hillside Capital Management based in Hong Kong. Loch Lomond 21 Years Old, a creation of the company’s blender Michael Henry, debuted in 2020. It is a blend of three styles of Loch Lomond single malt (two of them lightly peated), distilled in Lomond stills. The components were aged separately in American oak barrels and then subjected to a 3-month marriage. The whisky is bottled at 46% abv and unchill-filtered.
