Product description
Mossburn Distillers & Blenders is a subsidiary of the Dutch group Marussia Beverages BV, founded in 2013.
It owns the Torabhaig Distillery on the Isle of Skye (distilling since January 2017) and is the publisher of the whisky. Mossburn Vintage Cask is a small series of single cask editions of Scottish single malts. The ninth in the series was Royal Brackla, distilled in 2008, aged for 10 years in a hogshead cask and bottled on 23 August 2018 at 46% abv and without chill filtration. Royal Brackla Distillery is now owned by John Dewar & Sons, a part of Bacardi since 1998, and produces around 4 million litres of distillate per year, most of which is "consumed" by Dewar's blends.
