Product description
Gentleman Jack was introduced in 1988 as the first permanent addition to the distillery portfolio since the Old No. 7 Brand.
What distinguishes Tennessee Whiskey from bourbon is charcoal mellowing process – the newly distilled spirit is filtered through about 10 ft layer of maple charcoal before entering the barrels. In case of Gentleman Jack the spirit undergoes such process twice, prior to barreling and prior to bottling. Gentleman Jack was a brainchild of late Lincoln Henderson († 2013), Brown-Forman master distiller for 40 years. It reveals sweeter and smoother side of Jack, a shy and humble man, who dedicated his life to whiskey.
