Product description
During the 1990s, Benriach Distillery was owned by Chivas Bros., then a subsidiary of Seagram.
It served more as a laboratory than a regular distillery and was the site of countless distilling and maturation experiments. When Billy Walker and his partners bought Benriach in 2004, part of the contract was the stock, including the results of the aforementioned experiments. In 2010, the triple-distilled BenRiach Horizons debuted and gained very positive reviews. Currently, the triple-distilled whisky is produced for about two weeks a year. The BenRiach Triple Distilled presented here debuted in 2018 in the Travel Retail offer. It is blended in bourbon casks and, to a lesser extent, Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
