Powers Three Swallow Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey / 40%/ 0.7l
- Powers is an old Irish whiskey brand established by John Power & Sons in the early 19th Century.
Product description
Powers is a reminder of the best years of Irish whiskey, and more specifically of John Power & Sons, one of the four main producers of this drink.
Their John's Lane Distillery was based in Dublin and produced 4 million litres of distillate per year. John Power & Sons was one of the founders of the Irish Distillers Group in 1966. Since 1975, Powers (originally pot still whiskey, later blended) has been produced at the Midleton distillery. The new century brought huge interest in Irish pot still whiskey and 2015 saw the debut of Powers Three Swallow, "a modern version of the traditional Powers whiskey produced in Dublin years ago; it is triple distilled from a blend of malted and unmalted barley".
