Product description
The debut of the Classic Malts series in 1988 was undoubtedly a turning point for single malt whisky.
Previously, its share in global Scotch whisky sales was only 1%, now it is around 14%. The series' creators, United Distillers, included six of the most representative whiskies from six regions of Scotland. After ten years, each of the classics received its alter ego, finished in different types of casks. In the case of Dalwhinnie, representing the Highlands, these were Oloroso sherry casks. The Dalwhinnie 2005 Vintage presented here was included in the "Distillers Edition" in 2020. Dalwhinnie is the main component of the Black & White blend, which sold more than 32 million bottles in 2019.
