Product description
The debut of the Classic Malts series in 1988 was undoubtedly a turning point for single malt whisky. Previously, its share of global Scotch whisky sales was just 1%, now it is around 14%.
The series' creators, United Distillers, included six of the most representative whiskies from six regions of Scotland. After ten years, each of the classics received its alter ego, finished in different types of casks. In the case of Cragganmore, a representative of Speyside, these were port casks. The Cragganmore 2008 Vintage presented here was included in the "Distillers Edition" in 2020. Cragganmore's annual sales are just over 300,000 bottles (2019).
